Lighten Up
A major Tier One automotive lighting supplier needed seals on two different components for a new model vehicle program. They called Sterling, and we showed them how foam-in-place gasketing could handle both jobs -- using only one assembly station.
The robot in that flexible station is programmed to apply either or both seals consistently to the dimensions specified. The foam mixing and dispensing system delivers the control, quality and reliability demanded in today’s competitive environment.
We worked closely with the supplier throughout the design stage. And we delivered the solution on time and in budget.
